March is National Nutrition Month, and the City of Irvine is here to support your path to better health. From hands-on cooking classes to informative lectures and food resources, explore ways to build balanced habits.

Learn practical techniques for preparing nutritious meals using seasonal ingredients that support overall wellness and brain health.

In partnership with local community organizations, discover recommended nutrition practices for older adults and strategies to maintain cognitive health.
Free Food Box Distribution
Second Thursday of each month, 9 a.m.-noon | Great Park Parking Lot 2
In collaboration with Community Action Partnership of Orange County, the City of Irvine offers The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Eligible residents can receive a monthly food box filled with a variety of nutritious staples - from fresh produce and protein to whole grains and dairy - helping support balanced meals and overall well-being. Items may include dried beans, fruits and vegetables, juice, meat (when available), poultry, fish, nuts, milk, cheese, rice, cereal, and pasta.
Small steps can make a meaningful difference in how you feel each day. Whether you're learning new recipes, exploring nutrition tips, or accessing fresh, wholesome foods, the City of Irvine offers simple ways to support your health and well-being all month long - and beyond.
