City of Hemet Announces 2025 Beautification Contest Winners

The City of Hemet is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Hemet Beautification Contest, recognizing residents and businesses whose property enhancements help make Hemet a more beautiful and welcoming place to live, work, and visit.

This year's contest honored a total of seven winners, five district-wide winners, one citywide winner and one commercial winner, each receiving a $1,000 prize for their exceptional efforts to enhance their property and contribute to the City's visual appearance.

Winners were recognized at the October 14, 2025, City Council Meeting:

• District 1 & Citywide Winner: Lisa Diehl
• District 2 Winner: Marla Terrell
• District 3 Winner: Karryl Steppe
• District 4 Winner: Miguel Ramirez
• District 5 Winner: Mark Dunn
• Citywide Commercial Winner: Prince of Peace Family Ministries
  

Several winners attended the City Council meeting, where they were recognized for their hard work and dedication to beautifying their neighborhoods. Council Members expressed their appreciation for the winner's contributions, noting the significance in each improvement in elevating the image and livability of Hemet.

The City extends its gratitude to all participants for their commitment to community enhancement and civic pride. Plans for the 2026 Hemet Beautification Contest are already underway, and residents are encouraged to participate and continue the citywide effort to create a more beautiful Hemet for generations to come.
