Warm up your winter with a diverse lineup of festive events presented by the Portland State University College of the Arts. From a unique art market to soul-stirring musical performances, the College of the Arts offers a range of opportunities for students, faculty staff, and community members to add joy to our days, engage with the vibrant arts scene at PSU and support the next generation of creative professionals.

Get your holiday shopping started with Good Market, presented by PSU's Graphic Design program. Shop for original designs, prints, stickers, pins, cards, three-dimensional artwork and so much more, all created by talented graphic design students. You'll find an astonishing array of art, ranging from fun and humorous to beautiful and inspiring, at this festive market, with unusual gifts for your friends and family (and yourself!). Admission is free, and all proceeds go to the artists themselves.

Of course, it will come as no surprise that the College of the Arts offers musical inspiration for the winter holidays. PSU's Choirs will embrace the season's quiet reflection and joy with two memorable and soul-stirring concerts, Unceasing Loveand A Holiday Garden.

Sing along with the choir at Unceasing Love, a performance and community singpresented by the Rose, Thorn and Briar Choirs, led by Coty Raven Morris. Expect sacred and secular choral music that heals the spirit with soaring harmonies and invigorating rhythms, and get ready to raise your voice.

A Holiday Gardenfeatures the world-renowned PSU Chamber Choir (fresh off their acclaimed album release, The Songs Remain), performing the world premiere of Brad Hansen's "Medley of Carols," with jazz artist Darrell Grant at the piano. Jazz, gospel and Latin styles, delivered with serious choral artistry, infuse this new work, and Darrell Grant's virtuosic jazz trio will perform holiday favorites for the second part of the program. This concert benefits music scholarships at PSU.

Adding to the musical festivities is our Candlelight Masterworks Series Holiday Concert. This highly anticipated event will feature the PSU Orchestra performing a captivating repertoire in the warm glow of candlelight, creating an intimate and magical atmosphere. Ken Selden conducts the PSU Orchestra, performing masterpieces by Vaughan Williams and a world premiere by Bryan Johanson, and other works.

We invite you to fill your holiday calendar with these and dozens of other performances, recitals, art exhibitions, film screenings, plays, lectures, and more presented by the College of the Arts. Learn more at pdx.edu/arts.
