Domestic Violence Awareness Month: Take a Pause

What do we mean by "taking a pause?" Learning to recognize our own role in an unhealthy relationship can help us stop harmful behaviors before they start. You may need help if:

• Concern for your partner is turning into control of your partner
• You intimidate your partner during conflict
• Your behavior makes your partner feel more scared than secure
• Your words more hurtful than heartfelt
• You're checking up instead of checking in with your partner
• You're controlling all the finances in your relationship
