Cypress Expands Free Bulky Item Pickup Services

The City of Cypress has expanded its bulky item pickup program to provide residential customers with greater access to convenient disposal services.

Under an updated agreement between the City of Cypress and Valley Vista Services, all residential customers may now schedule up to four free bulky item pickups each year. The service is also available to residents of multi-family properties.

Single-family residences may include up to 10 items per scheduled pickup, while multi-family residences may include up to four items per pickup.

The expanded program is intended to make it easier for residents to dispose of large unwanted items properly while helping reduce illegal dumping throughout the community.

To schedule a pickup for a single-family residence, you may submit a request at valleyvistaservices.com/bulky-item, email an itemized list to [email protected] or call (800) 442-6454.

Pickup requests for residents living in multi-family residences should be coordinated through your property manager or HOA to help ensure a smooth collection process.
