Alcami Strengthens Laboratory Leadership with Promotion of Robert Tragas to Vice President, Laboratory Services

WILMINGTON, N.C., November 2, 2026 - Alcami, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has announced the promotion of Robert Tragas to Vice President, Laboratory Services. The promotion strengthens Alcami's laboratory leadership and supports the continued growth of its analytical and biologics capabilities.

In his expanded role, Robert Tragas will lead laboratory operations across Alcami's Research Triangle Park campus, overseeing analytical, biologics, microbiology and environmental monitoring functions. His leadership will focus on driving alignment, operational excellence and continued growth across the laboratory organization.

Robert joined Alcami more than 26 years ago and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout the organization. His technical expertise, operational leadership and ability to execute complex scientific programs have played a central role in expanding Alcami's analytical and biologics capabilities. As demand for biologics continues to grow, his leadership will support the continued scaling of these capabilities and the organization's next phase of growth.
