Copyright reform is urgent to meet the needs of Africa and the Global South, according to a recent conference in South Africa supported and co-convened by PIJIP. The conference included academics, researchers, creators, librarians and policy makers from across Africa and Latin America and it discussed topics from Artificial Intelligence to Traditional Knowledge.
