Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Xiao Jianguo Attends Chinese Film Show of the Brunei Film Blitz

On 24th December, the Chinese Film Show of the Brunei Film Blitz was successfully held. H.E. Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Yang Mulia Haji Safwan Abdullah Bibi, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism,  Ms. Salinah Salleh, Acting Director of the Tourism Development, Dr. Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Principal of the Brunei History Center and Pengiran Hajah Mahani binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Director of Royal Regalia, etc, were present, and watched The Wandering Earth I and II together with local friends from all walks of life.

Ambassador Xiao said in his speech that Wandering Earth I showcases the bravery, solidarity, responsibility and love of human being when faced with crisis and adversities, and only through unity and cooperation can we overcome them. It is a vivid interpretation of the vision of a community of shared future for mankind put forward by President Xi Jinping. It is believed that through the art of light and shadow, Bruneian friends will also understand the rapid development of Chinese sci-tech and society.
