In an October 7, 2024 memo released via the Health Plan Management System (HPMS) to PACE, Medicare Advantage (MA) plans, and Prescription Drug Plans, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced detailed information on the planned release of systems changes scheduled for the Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug system (MARx) in October and December 2024.
In these two separate releases plans will now see inclusion of manufacturer discount program changes and the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (MPPP) batch uploads will now require disenrollment reason codes.
