WASHINGTON, DC- Today, the Democratic Doctors Caucus released the following statement on Republican attempts to strip health care from nearly 14 million Americans.

"The goal of the Republican budget is clear: sacrifice the health and well-being of millions of Americans by slashing Medicaid and gutting food assistance, all to hand $4.5 trillion in tax breaks to billionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

"As doctors, we've seen firsthand what happens when patients lose coverage: missed appointments, skipped medications and preventable conditions left untreated. These cuts won't just strain the system-they will cost lives.
