Chinese Ambassador to Namibia Zhao Weiping Pays Courtesy Call on Prime Minister of the Republic of Namibia

On January 21, Ambassador Zhao Weiping paid a courtesy call on Rt. Hon. Dr. Tjitunga Elijah Ngurare, Prime Minister of the Republic of Namibia, and exchanged views on China-Namibia relations.

Ambassador Zhao congratulated the Namibian Government on its remarkable achievements since its inception, highly commended Prime Minister Ngurare's contributions to promoting bilateral relations, and emphasized that China and Namibia not only share a profound friendship but also enjoy great potential for deepening practical cooperation. He expressed the hope that China-Namibia relations will continue to achieve new greater development.

Prime Minister Ngurare spoke positively of bilateral relations, stating that Namibia attaches great importance to the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between Namibia and China. He expressed Namibia's readiness to work together with China to deepen exchanges and cooperation across a wide range of fields and to promote more tangible outcomes in practical cooperation between the two countries.
