On Wednesday 17 September, Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, hosted a luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage for four newly accredited Ambassadors:

  • H.E. Ms Alise Balode, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia, Personal Representative of the President of the Republic of Latvia to the International Organisation of La Francophonie;
  • H.E. Ms Renata Cvelbar Bek, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Slovenia to UNESCO and formerly Ambassador to Madrid and London;
  • H.E. Ms Tania Cavassini, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland, who headed the Resources Directorate of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs from 2019 to 2024;
  • H.E. Ms Lynette Margaret Wood, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia.

Earlier that morning, the Ambassadors had presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince. They were then able to exchange views with Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, in the presence of Ludmilla Raconnat Le Goff, Country Chief Officer for Attractiveness with the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Strategic Council for Attractiveness, and Guillaume Rose, CEO of the Monaco Economic Board.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the relations of friendship and cooperation between the Principality and each of these countries.
