New Eurobarometer spring survey: media briefing on Tuesday at 10:00

Accredited journalists are invited to an under-embargo briefing on a new survey on what the public think about the EU and its priorities.

WHEN: Tuesday 2 September 2025 at 10:00

WHERE: Anna Politkovskaya press conference room, at the European Parliament in Brussels (SPAAK building, room 0A50) and via Interactio.

On 2 September, Delphine Colard, Parliament's spokesperson, will present the main findings of the new Eurobarometer survey to the media. All information will be under embargo until the survey is published the next morning at 7.00.

The survey examines EU citizens' priorities for the future and highlights their expectation that the EU should to protect them against global crises, strengthen security and defence, and enhance competitiveness.

The full results of Parliament's spring 2025 Eurobarometer survey (including all national data sets) will be published on the Eurobarometer website on Wednesday 3 September 2025 at 07:00. The interviews were conducted by research agency Verian from 5 to 29 May 2025 in all 27 EU Member States.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Interpretation will be available in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Polish.

Please note that as the data will remain under embargo until the following day, public streaming will not be provided.
