The mission of the City of White Plains Recreation and Parks Department is to enhance the quality of life by providing recreational opportunities through safe, well-organized and affordable programs and facilities; and to maintain a comprehensive network of parks, trails and open spaces that promotes the mental, physical and social well being of our residents.

Our programs/events are accessible and we welcome people with disabilities. We are committed to ensuring that all programs are available to resident youth to participate in regardless of their disability or other barriers that would preclude them from participation. It is our goal to enable all young people to realize their full potential through age appropriate recreation activity.
