Statement from NGA Chair and Vice Chair
NGA Chair Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt and Maryland Governor Wes Moore issued the following statement:
"As governors, we implore our fellow Americans to reject division and violence. Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative, we are all Americans, and we settle disagreements by debate.
"Scenes of chaos and violence on our streets are unacceptable. This is not who we are.
"It is time to take a step back, bring state and federal leaders together, and unite as Americans."
