New Hires in Newsroom Operations

Newsroom Operations is excited to welcome Amanda Courtney and Hanna Velcofsky, who both started this week.

For nearly 10 years, Amanda has run operations across live entertainment, media and c-suites. Most recently, she was head of events for the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), where she rebuilt the organization's festivals and touring division from the ground up following the pandemic. Prior to that, she held a variety of operations roles at Mosaic, a talent management company, and on productions for Apple TV+ and Netflix. Now, she will support the National desk.

Amanda holds a B.F.A. in drama and creative writing and a master's degree in entertainment industry management from Carnegie Mellon University.
