Stormwater Awareness Week, Sept. 21-25, is a great time to think about where rainwater goes after it falls. Some rainwater is absorbed into the ground, but much of it runs across yards, sidewalks and streets and flows into storm drains, carrying grass clippings, leaves, litter and other pollutants into Fort Worth's waterways.
What goes down the drain matters. You can help protect local waterways by keeping pollutants out of our storm drains. Follow these few simple actions:
