Riverside, CA - May 22, 2026 - Within the City of Riverside, all evacuation orders and warnings related to the Bain Fire have been lifted.
Fire danger has been greatly reduced, and all residents are able to safely return to their homes in the following areas:
Evacuation Warnings Lifted - Effective immediately 5/22/26Residents and those traveling through the area are encouraged to continue using caution. Crews will remain in the area over the next several days to ensure roadways and homes remain safe.
Residents may continue to see or smell drift smoke in the area due to lingering activity. Personnel will also continue canvassing neighborhoods to support cleanup and ongoing safety efforts.
Please remain aware of your surroundings. The City of Riverside is committed to ensuring your safety and providing timely information regarding the Bain Fire. The safety of residents, families, and the community remains the top priority. Dial 9-1-1 in case of an emergency.
