The City of Irvine invites the community to learn about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle at the 16th annual Healthy Living Expo, October 4, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center.
This free event is designed for community members at every age and stage of life. It features fitness demonstrations, health screenings, educational presentations, flu shots, and a wide variety of health and wellness exhibitors. The Healthy Living Expo will also have an opportunity drawing with fun giveaways from local vendors. Orange County Social Services Agency will provide free, on-site enrollment for Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWORKS, and In-Home Supportive Services.
This event is a great resource for those who are looking to improve their overall health and wellness. The expo is free, and no prior registration is required. TRIPS will be providing free transportation to the Healthy Living Expo for Irvine residents ages 50 and older. Reservations can be made by phone from September 22 through October 3. New this year, the Healthy Living Expo is part of the City of Irvine's inaugural Nonprofit Week. This series of events will bring together nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and City staff to collaborate, share resources, and explore new ways to address the needs of Irvine residents.
