Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) students got to see the new Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Business Hall on March 19, 2026, during the ribbon cutting event, and they are buzzing with excitement. The new business hall is a part of PBA's God-Sized Dreams campaign and brings new places to relax, learn, and dine. A few students who attended the grand opening of the new hall share their opinions and excitement below.
Stoked to Socialize
The new business hall offers a plethora of new locations for students to study and socialize. From cozy corners to curl up in, to clusters of couches for large group hangouts, it also features locations for all students' seating preferences. Students need not worry about finding a place to charge their electronic devices, as numerous outlets are available and easily accessible in nearly every seat in the building.
"I can see lots of memories being made here," says English freshman Victoria Blanco. "Look at this! New food locations, people having fun, being silly, [and] hanging out."
Living to Learn
Starting on April 7, 2026, students will start having classes in the business hall. These classrooms include floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Intracoastal and the rest of the campus, creating a bright and open environment for learning. The classrooms feature rows of desks with abundant space for students to put their books, laptops, and notebooks. They are also equipped for e-learning with cameras positioned to track instructors as they move around as well as confidence monitors to assist both students and instructors during presentations.
Isabella Olson, a PBA freshman studying marketing, is looking forward to attending classes in the modern classrooms. She says that out of everything the new business hall offers, she is most excited to be "taking classes with the beautiful view."
Delighted to Dine
Sailfish Dining will also be launching four new places where students can use their flex dollars to purchase snacks and meals throughout the : Qdoba Mexican Eats, Bento Sushi, The Drop, and a new location for Jack's Market.
"The new dining spaces create new places to socialize," Blanco says excitedly.
These new dining locations open to the PBA community on March 23.
