Readout of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr.'s Meetings with NATO Chiefs of Defence

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr. participated in NATO Military Committee in Chiefs of Defence Sessions yesterday at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

The military leaders discussed NATO readiness, acceleration of standardization and interoperability, opportunities to leverage partnerships, collaboration toward international peace, security environments in the Middle East and Indo-Pacific, and battlefield updates from Ukraine.

The leaders reaffirmed the importance of achieving deterrence and strengthening NATO partnerships across the globe.
