Public Notice Regarding Amendment to Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-1 Motion Practice

The Judges of the Court propose an amendment to Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-1 Motion Practice. The amended local rule will provide a page limitation for all motions, responses, and briefs to 20 pages, with a limitation of 10 pages for replies. The page limitation will not be applicable to exhibits. Our proposed rule is similar to the District Court for the Middle District of Georgia's Local Rule 7.4 "Page Limitation" in civil cases.
