As we mourn his death, we also honor his legacy as a strong supporter for farmers, healthcare, education, veterans, children, and transportation.

Now, THEREFORE, IN HONOR OF AND AS A MARK OF RESPECT FOR THE MEMORY OF DAVID SCOTT, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY

That the flag of the United States of America and the flag of the State of Georgia shall be flown at half-staff on all state buildings and grounds from the date of this order through sunset on the day of his interment.
