Telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev
The leaders discussed the progress in implementing agreements on the further development of the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relationship between Russia and Kazakhstan, paying particular attention to mutually beneficial joint projects in trade and economy.
Vladimir Putin confirmed he would attend the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council to be held in late May in Astana. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev Tokayev Kassym-JomartPresident of the Republic of Kazakhstan invited the President of Russia to make a state visit to Kazakhstan in conjunction with attending the event. His invitation was gratefully accepted.
In addition, a number of current international matters were discussed as well. The leaders agreed to maintain close contact.
