Cotton Praises Nearly $150 Million Investment for Arkansas from Rural Health Transformation Program

LITTLE ROCK - Today, Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement praising the $149.3 million investment for Arkansas from the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP):

"The Republican-led Rural Health Transformation Program will expand access to high-quality healthcare for rural communities across Arkansas. I was proud to vote to create this program and look forward to seeing how this historic investment will benefit Arkansas families for years to come."

Background:

The Working Families Tax Cut established the RHTP to strengthen access to healthcare in rural areas by allocating $50 billion for the program over five years. This announcement is the first round of funding for Arkansas. More information on the RHTP can be found here.
