Secretary-General of ASEAN participates in the Heads of Civil Service Meeting for the 8th ASEAN Plus Three Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM+3) in Siem Reap, Cambodia

Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 5 August 2026, participated in the Heads of Civil Service Meeting for the 8th ASEAN Plus Three Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM+3), in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Held under the theme "Innovation for Better Service Delivery," the Meeting discussed priorities to strengthen ASEAN Plus Three cooperation. The ACCSM+3 Work Plan 2026-2030 was adopted to promote cooperation to promote citizen-centred and inclusive public services, human resource management for the future of work, leadership, innovation, and public sector values. During the Meeting, Dr. Kao briefed the meeting on relevant outcomes of recent ASEAN Meetings and delivered a statement on the Meeting's theme.
