As part of its 152nd Imperial Session, hosted this year in Tampa, Shriners International will hold a parade on Tuesday, July 14, along 7th Avenue in Ybor City beginning at 7 p.m.
The parade will begin near 7th Avenue and Nuccio Parkway and end at 7th Avenue and North 20th Street (see attached map).
Like other parades in Ybor, the Tampa Police Department (TPD) will begin closing 7th Avenue to vehicle traffic well in advance, starting around 4 p.m. Drivers should also expect barricades and road closures on side streets adjacent to the parade route.
Attendees are encouraged to use alternative transportation options to travel to and from the parade, including the free TECO Line Streetcar. Drivers should also be on the lookout for increased pedestrian activity nearby.
