City of Alexandria Resumes Regular Trash and Recycling Collection Schedule Beginning February 2

Regularly scheduled trash, recycling, yard waste, and curbside compost collections will resume on Monday, February 2 in the City of Alexandria. Residents may place their bins out for collection on their regularly scheduled day.

Snow and ice teams have been working diligently to clear all streets in time for the start of this week's collection period. Our team appreciates your patience and cooperation as snow removal operations continue.

If you have additional waste that is unable to fit in the bin, trash can be brought free of charge to the ReWorld Waste-to-Energy facilityat 5301 Eisenhower Ave. and recyclables brought to any City-operated Recycling Drop-Off Center.
