Doreen Sim and Lee Liat Yeang conferred top honours by the Law Society of Singapore

Doreen Sim and Lee Liat Yeang, Senior Partners at Dentons Rodyk, have been honoured with the inaugural Practice Excellence Awards from the Law Society of Singapore in their respective fields of legal practice. An independent selection committee, appointed by the Council of the Law Society, decided the recipients of the awards, which recognise lawyers who have achieved excellence in their respective practice areas.

Doreen Sim, head of Dentons Rodyk's Finance Practice Group, received the award in the Banking & Finance category. With over three decades of professional experience, Doreen has consistently demonstrated excellence, combining deep technical expertise with professional service, integrity, and notable achievements. Doreen has played a pivotal role in some of Singapore's most significant banking and finance transactions, spanning high-value real estate deals as well as major cross-border financing deals.

Lee Liat Yeang, co-head of the firm's Corporate Real Estate, Project Development, and Collective Sales practices, received the award in the Real Estate category. Since beginning his legal career in the firm in 1993, Liat Yeang has become a leading authority in corporate real estate legal practice, advising developers and investment companies on complex and high-value real estate transactions. He has also written papers and delivered talks on various legal real estate topics. Liat Yeang has also made significant contributions to the legal community, having served as Chairperson of the Law Society's Conveyancing Practice Committee for nearly a decade, and he continues to contribute as a senior member.

The Awards were conferred during the Law Society's Annual Dinner held on 24th October 2025 at the Fullerton Hotel, Singapore.
