Celebrate Juneteenth in Downtown Tempe at the Juneteenth Block Party on Friday, June 19, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Centerpoint Plaza. Hosted by Downtown Tempe Authority, this free, all-ages event celebrates Black history, culture and joy with live music, dance battles, performances, soul food trucks, an on-site bar, a pop-up roller rink, interactive art, activities and more.
The celebration continues with the African-American Advisory Committee's 13th Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tempe History Museum. This free, family-friendly City of Tempe event will honor freedom, history and community with hands-on activities, performances, vendors, story time, food trucks, Police and Fire vehicles, a video game trailer and more.
