Fredericksburg Delays Rescheduled Fireworks Show

Fredericksburg, Texas - Amid ongoing flood recovery efforts, the City of Fredericksburg has announced that its July 4th fireworks display, originally planned for Friday, July 4, and previously postponed to Friday, July 11, has been rescheduled again.

The fireworks will now be utilized as part of Labor Day Weekend festivities in Fredericksburg on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 8:30 p.m. at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park.

The decision comes as City staff continue to assist with recovery efforts following the July 4 floods that impacted the Texas Hill Country.

The show, which was slated to be held at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, was originally rescheduled due to inclement weather and unsafe conditions on Independence Day.
