Political consultations with the Republic of Korea

The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nuno Sampaio, met the Vice-Minister of Political Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Chung Byung-won, in Lisbon, on the 15^th of November, for the 7th bilateral Political Consultations. During the consultations, which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties discussed the excellent institutional and political relationship, as well as issues of the international agenda, including the war against Ukraine, the situation in the Korean Peninsula and in North-East Asia and the situation in the Middle East. Issues of common interest such as cooperation with Africa, collaboration in international organisations and consular affairs were also addressed.
