Sajid Azeb Honoured for Transformative Impact on Bradford’s Communities

With over 25 years of experience in the NHS, Sajid has built a reputation as a dynamic and compassionate leader. Starting his career in a clinical role in 2000, he transitioned into NHS management in 2003 while simultaneously completing an MBA-laying the foundation for a career defined by strategic insight and service transformation.

Before joining Bradford, he held senior roles at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where he tackled complex service challenges with a steady hand and a people-first approach.

Known for his expertise in performance, finance, and service development, Sajid is also a dedicated mentor and community advocate. He currently serves as Chair of the University of Bradford's MBA Industry Advisory Board and continues to support the next generation of healthcare leaders through mentoring.

His award recognises not just his professional excellence, but his deep commitment to the people of Bradford.
