CelcomDigi partners with Terengganu to boost digital infrastructure and support Equestrian sports

CelcomDigi Bhd has partnered with the Terengganu State Government to accelerate the development of digital infrastructure and support endurance and equestrian sports through its Arena CelcomDigi platform. The partnership includes a RM3 million investment over five years to upgrade the Terengganu International Endurance Park (TIEP) and assist local sports teams.

Since merging three years ago, CelcomDigi has invested more than RM300 million in Terengganu, focusing on improving connectivity and promoting digital adoption among local businesses. The company serves over two-thirds of the state's population through its 400 retail outlets, strengthening its presence in the region.

The Arena CelcomDigi platform aims to increase awareness of and participation in endurance and equestrian sports, particularly among young people. This initiative supports the long-term growth of these sports at local and international levels, aligning with Terengganu's wider digitalisation and economic development goals.
