Item 8.01 Other Events.

Graphjet Technology (the "Company") announced earlier today that on June 12, 2025, it received a letter from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq") stating that the hearing the Company had previously requested will be held on July 17, 2025 (the "Hearing"), meaning that the Company's ordinary shares will continue to trade on Nasdaq until the date of the Hearing.

While the Company awaits the date of the Hearing and in order for its ordinary shares to remain listed, the Company is working closely with its auditors to complete the audit of its financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, in an expedient manner. The Company is simultaneously working towards remedying the outstanding non-compliances for which it has received letters from Nasdaq, as disclosed in the past. Chris Lai, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, is confident that the Company is able to cure all the outstanding non-compliances and continue working towards its long-term plan to become the leading producer of graphite and graphene.
