Columbia Police respond to shooting on East Broadway and Ninth Street

At about 1:40 a.m. Sept. 27, Columbia Police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of East Broadway.

Police officers located one adult male and two adult females with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical care was given to the victims. They were taken to a local hospital. One of the females sustained life-threatening injuries from the shooting.

Police have an adult male suspect in custody. There are no additional suspects at this time.
