University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) President Dr. Gregory Fowler offered remarks at the quarterly meeting of the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association (MCPA), held Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the university's headquarters in Adelphi, Md. MCPA is an organization of law enforcement executives dedicated to serving their members and communities through legislative and legal advocacy, training and member services. UMGC now offers an accelerated pathway to a bachelor's degree for active and recently retired police officers.
