KT&G (CEO Bang Kyung-man) announced that it is carrying out various support initiatives to ensure the successful hosting of the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.
KT&G held a coffee truck event at Gyeongju City Hall on October 17, delivering messages of encouragement to local government employees and residents During the event, the company provided coffee and Jung Kwan Jang red ginseng beverages, sharing its well-wishes and support for those preparing for the international summit.
In addition, KT&G is displaying APEC support messages on its nationwide offices-including its Seoul and Daejeon headquarters-as well as across its fleet of sales vehicles. The company is also actively promoting the upcoming APEC Summit through its corporate website, official social media channels, and other promotional platforms.
Furthermore, KT&G's subsidiary KGC Ginseng Corporation joined the campaign by leveraging Jung Kwan Jang, Korea's leading red ginseng brand. KGC is providing Jung Kwan Jang products, including the popular Every Time, to major hotels and accommodations in Gyeongju to introduce Korea's traditional health foods to international guests. It is also preparing special promotions at duty-free shops and street retail shops to actively spread the word of the support for APEC.
Gyeongsangbuk-do APEC Summit Bid Committee Chairman Bae Jin-seok (and Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council Vice Chairman) expressed his gratitude, saying, "We sincerely appreciate KT&G for visiting Gyeongju to host this meaningful event in support of the public officials and citizens who are diligently preparing for the summit."
