The new Permanent Representative of Mauritania to the United Nations, Cheikhna Nenni Moulaye Zeine, presented his credentials to UN Secretary-General António Guterres today.

Mauritanian diplomat and senior official with extensive experience in bilateral and multilateral diplomacy, international relations, public governance, and strategic communication. A former ambassador, consul general, and leader of public and private institutions, he possesses recognized expertise in international cooperation, institutional management, media and international law.
