New Multi-Million Dollar CT Scanner Brings Faster, More Precise Care to Evansville

Ascension St. Vincent Evansville has officially unveiled a state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar CT scanning device, bringing a new level of advanced medical imaging directly to patients in the Tri-State.

Housed inside the Center for Advanced Medicine, this cutting-edge equipment ensures that Southern Indiana residents receive safer, faster, more comfortable, and more precise diagnostic care close to home.

The introduction of this advanced technology marks a significant milestone for local healthcare, offering major advancements in the patient experience:

• Shorter Scan Times: Patients spend significantly less time inside the scanner, greatly reducing anxiety and discomfort.
• Safer Imaging: The high-tech system requires less contrast dye, making the scanning process gentler on the body.
