Road Conditions at County Landfill
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 28, 2024) - The Charlotte County Landfill is advising the public that road conditions at the landfill, located at 29751 Zemel Road in Punta Gorda, are slippery and difficult to navigate due to recent weather. To ensure safety and prevent vehicles from becoming stuck, individuals should refrain from visiting the facility this weekend unless they have a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle.
This advisory is in effect for Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024. Please plan your trip accordingly and be prepared for challenging road conditions if you must visit the landfill.
