Video: How Bonton Farms Is Empowering Change From Within

Bonton Farms started as a community garden to provide better access to healthy food in the Bonton neighborhood of South Dallas. The nonprofit has since expanded its reach to address other essential needs in the community, including transportation, financial tools, health and wellness, and housing.

A Blue Impact^℠ grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas is helping Bonton Farms continue growing its capacity to support long-term stability and economic mobility.

"Blue Impact helps us to strengthen that integrated ecosystem so that we're able to go deeper and walk with the community," says Melissa Metoyer, senior director of health equity and community impact for Bonton Farms.
