BLM Approves Three Rights-of-Way in Lincoln County, Nevada

CALIENTE, Nev. - Last week the Bureau of Land Management Caliente Field Office approved three right-of-way grants in Lincoln County to support public safety, improve access, and enhance essential communications services. These include the following:

Stoll Access Road Right-of-Way

The BLM has approved a right-of-way for an existing terminal access road to private property near Alamo, Nevada. For more information, visit the Stoll Access Road project webpage.

Ursine Fiber Optic Right-of-Way
The BLM has issued a decision on a Categorical Exclusion to grant a new right-of-way for buried fiber optic line to service an existing communication site on 0.92 acres of public lands near Ursine, Nevada. For more information, visit the Ursine Fiber Project webpage.

White River Communication Site Power Distribution Line
The BLM has issued a decision on a Categorical Exclusion to grant a new right-of-way for a power distribution line to service an existing communication site on public lands north of Hiko, Nevada. This communication site provides essential cellular phone coverage for a remote section of highway between Hiko and Lund. The new power distribution line will allow the communication site to provide more reliable service to travelers.
