Falliday Market returns to Lowe Park this Saturday
As temperatures drop and seasons change, the Marion Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its fifth annual Falliday Market at Lowe Park, 4500 N. 10th Street, on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. This festive event features seasonal and holiday-inspired items, from handcrafted décor and delicious treats to fresh greenery, produce and unique gift items.
Organizers anticipate the perfect blend of seasonal and holiday treasures with approximately 60 vendors, including three food trucks, participating. Any items for sale will be homemade or homegrown. Vendors will be set up both indoors and outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
Due to the rain received over the past few weeks, the ground conditions will not allow for overflow parking on the grass at Lowe Park. Additional event overflow parking will be available at the Irish Drive entrance to Lowe Park. A quarter-mile recreational trail connects the overflow parking area to the event venue. Golf cart shuttles are also being secured.
The event is free and open to the public. Questions may be directed to the Marion Parks and Recreation Department at (319) 447-3590.
