Dignity Health Sacramento Hospitals Earn an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group

Fall 2025 Safety Grade is a national recognition for commitment to patient safety

SACRAMENTO, CA, November 17, 2025 - Dignity Health is proud to announce that all five Sacramento Dignity Health hospitals earned an "A" Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national leader in hospital safety ratings.Leapfrog assigns an "A," "B," "C," "D" or "F" grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

Awarded hospitals include:

  • Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital
  • Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center
  • Dignity Health Mercy Hospital of Folsom
  • Dignity Health Methodist Hospital of Sacramento
  • Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital
