Community Engagement Mini-Grants open to faculty, staff

The Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) Community Engagement Mini-Grant program is accepting applications through Monday, Jan. 12! Faculty and staff can request up to $1000 for community-engaged activities.

CCEL provides funding in two areas:

  • Research or Projects: to conduct community-engaged research or plan and carry out community projects.
  • Curriculum: to create or redesign curriculum incorporating community engagement and community partnerships.

UAA faculty and staff across all campuses can apply. Junior faculty, faculty teaching GER courses and faculty in underrepresented disciplines are especially encouraged to apply.

Those interested may check out the mini-grant program information guide and visit the CCEL mini-grant website for more information. Those with questions may email [email protected].
