Snow Emergency Parking Ban Effective Sunday, January 19, at 4:00PM

A Snow Emergency Parking Ban has been declared for Sunday, January 19, 2025, starting at 4:00PM. This means there will be no parking on City streets from 10:00PM onwards until the ban is lifted.

Motor vehicles parking in violation of such ban are subject to towing at the owner's expense. Motor vehicles may also receive a parking violation ticket.

For those without access to off-street parking, FREE parking for City residents is available starting at 4:00PM at:

  • Joseph Downes Parking Facility, 75 John St
  • Lower Locks Garage, 90 Warren St
  • Hamilton Canal Garage, Dutton St @ Broadway St
  • George A. Ayotte Parking Facility, 1 Post Office Square

Once the "Snow Emergency" is lifted, any residents that have parked in the facility will have 2 hours to remove their vehicles from the facility without incurring any additional expenses. Vehicles not removed within 2 hours will be assessed a fee from that time until the vehicle is removed.
