Amazon delivered more than 2 million meals to students in rural communities this summer
Amazon's Summer Meals for Kids program-a partnership with No Kid Hungry and 18 local food bank and school district partners-delivered more than 2 million free meals directly to students' doorsteps across 13 states this summer. The program uses Amazon's rural delivery network to close the summer hunger gap for children who lose access to free school meals when school lets out. Piloted with three partners in 2025, the program expanded nearly 30 times more in 2026.
