Jan. 08, 2025

HARRISBURG - Rep. Thomas Kutz (R-Cumberland) took the oath of office Tuesday to begin his second term as representative of the 87th District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

For the 2025-26 Legislative Session, Kutz's priorities include making Pennsylvania and Cumberland County great places to live, work and raise a family. His mission as a lawmaker is to ensure state government is fiscally responsible, while addressing the needs of its citizens first and foremost through good public policy.

"I am humbled to continue serving the community I love and have called home all my life," said Kutz. "I am grateful to the constituents, friends and family who have supported me on this incredible journey. That overwhelming support energizes me to serve, and this session, I'm prioritizing making Pennsylvania and Cumberland County better places to plant roots through thoughtful and responsible policy initiatives.

"It's an honor of a lifetime to serve, and it's an obligation I take on with gratitude and steadfastness. I'm eager to continue to work to improve the place we call home," Kutz concluded.
