Ascension St. Elizabeth Cardiologist Recognized as 'Guardian Angel'

Local CBS affiliate WFRV in Green Bay aired a powerful story recognizing the exceptional care provided by the Ascension St. Elizabeth team after a patient went into cardiac arrest at the Appleton airport. The segment highlights the coordinated efforts of our cardiology team members, first responders, and ER in stabilizing the patient, Jim Hansen, and preparing him for bypass surgery with Ascension St. Elizabeth cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Zenoun Abouzelam that ultimately saved his life.
